Priority is given to organisations with income between £10,000 and £250,000; those working in communities in the top 15% of the Index of Multiple Deprivation; those whose main activities support marginalised groups (including disabled people, communities experiencing racial inequity, and LGBT+ people); and those whose objects relate to habitat or species restoration or protection.
Up to £25,000, and no more than 25% of the income in your most recent signed accounts. With an income of £40,000 you can ask for up to £10,000, and you need an income of £100,000 or more to ask for the full £25,000.
Applications are open from 30 September to 21 October 2026. The guidance notes and FAQs are on the funder’s page.
Applications are open now and close on 21 October 2026. Download the guidance notes and the application questions from the funder’s page before you start.
Organisations working with marginalised communities, operating in deprived areas, with smaller annual incomes, and those with explicit focus on habitat or species restoration or protection in their governing documents are most competitive.
Ensure your organisation's main aims and objectives fit one of the two funding themes. If your main activity focuses on supporting marginalised groups or is based on habitat/species restoration, highlight this clearly. Contact the team early with questions.
