Deaf children in the early years (0 to 5) and their families, for this funding cycle.
£1,000 to £10,000, for 12 months. One project per organisation in a 12-month period; the same project is unlikely to be funded twice.
Rolling: apply at any time. Applications are assessed on set dates, and applicants are told when to expect a response.
Read the eligibility, objectives and planning guidance, then apply online through the community grants application page. The grants team and volunteers can discuss ideas before an application.
Show how the project supports deaf children aged 0 to 5 and their families, directly or indirectly, and builds a community that brings families of deaf children together. Cost the essential running costs of the project, and make clear it does not replace services that education or health services provide as standard.
Talk to the grants team before applying: email them to discuss your idea, and volunteers can help you write a strong, well evidenced application. One project per organisation is funded in any 12 months and the same project is unlikely to be funded twice, so plan how it will continue after the year.
