Innovative suicide awareness and prevention projects. Applications from smaller charities are particularly encouraged.
£5,000 to £25,000, at the trustees’ discretion.
Applications 1 September to 31 October 2026, reviewed together. Shortlisted applicants told by the end of November 2026 and submit a second-round application by the end of December; outcomes by the end of February 2027, awards in March 2027.
Complete the first-round online form on the Grants page in one sitting (it cannot be saved). Shortlisted applicants are contacted for more information and may have a visit or video call with a trustee.
Trustees fund where they believe the grant will make a real difference to suicide awareness or prevention, and innovative projects get priority. Charities with income over £1 million, or more than 12 months of unrestricted reserves, are unlikely to succeed. Core costs are considered only so far as your organisation’s mission meets the grant criteria.
The first-round form cannot be saved, so draft your answers first: it asks for three years of income and expenditure, your reserves position, child protection policy, insurance and a project summary of up to 200 words. You can include full cost recovery. It is a two-stage process, and shortlisted applicants may get an assessment visit or video call from a trustee. All applications are reviewed together after the window closes on 31 October 2026.
